Identifiable by its red and white design, with the 3M wordmark stamped on its backing, the 3M™ Finesse-it™ Buffing Pad comes in both 3- and 5-inch diameters. Achieve best results on a variety of clearcoats using the 3-inch pad when running between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 — 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher. Our 5-inch buffing pad should run between 3,000 — 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 — 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher.

This pad is manufactured with the 3M™ velcro attachment system for quick pad attachment and removal. Hookit™ buffing pads conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on rotary or random orbital tools, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the life of the pad.
