Spectrum Universal Matting Paste Additive For Paint 1Lt
A universal matting paste which can be used as a additive to reduce the gloss level in paint and coatings products and to add texture effects to coatings.
Gloss paints are the result of a perfectly flat finish The effect of satin or matt finishers is the result of the surface of the paint film being made rough by the used of micro particles in the paint film.
Application
For satin finishers 80 grms of matting paste per 1 ltr gloss paint for Matt finishing 150 grms of matting paste per 1ltr gloss paint, this is approx. quantity as the final result will depend on the type of paint produce and the film thickness of the final result.
Low film thickness will result in a heavy matting as the particles will have no movement leeway in the paint film, and may even sit on top..
Deep film thickness will result in the matting particles being distributed thought the paint film making a higher gloss level.
Compatibility
This product is compatible to a wide range of paint and plastic products , most automotive paint including 2k Acrylic , Polyester Basecoat and clearcoats, Cellulose , Air DRY tpa Acrylics, Epoxy products, commercial and industrial paint products.
