A high quality quick drying 2k MS matt clearcoat with isocyanate activator supplied as a pack.To be used as a topcoat clear in basecoat /clearcoat finishers.
Suitable for cars, commercial vehicles as well as for Industrial applications equipment.

Theoretical Coverage

A coverage of 6-9 m sq/Mt. per coat Of base paint if full coats are applied.

Application Substrates

MIRRORCLEAR 2k MATT Kit can be applied over polyester basecoat as part of a basecoat/clearcoat system.
Suitable primers prior to basecoat application include:

Washfiller Etch -on steel or aluminium alloys
Tempo Filler shades
Mirrorcryl Hi-Fil (2k) Primer

Abraded original finishes with (p 1500) or Primer systems use ultra fine Fibral hand pad.

Surface preparation
Dry sand with p320-p400 free cut paper
Wet sand with p800-p1000 wet or dry paper.
Re coat primers when flash-off/drying times have been observed.

Spraying Viscosity
100 MIRRORCLEAR 2k MATT Kit -50 HARDENER -30 thinner to a spraying viscosity of 15-17 secs Din4 at 20°c .with every thinner

Brush Application

Mirrorclear matt can be brush applied with a mixing ratio of 10 parts base paint : 1 parts 108.011 Mirrorcryl RFU Hardener Apply 2 full coats each coat must be cured before application of further coats

Application

1st COAT
Spray one single medium coat allowing 10 minutes flash off .

2nd COAT
Spray one full coat allowing 5 minutes flash before baking.

Drying

20°c metal temperature

Recoatability.

Recoatable after drying times under hard dry ,if flatting is necessary when fully cured flat with p1000 and leave open as long as possible before recoating.

Storage

12 months for unopened cans.
Ambient temperature for application is above 10°c. low humidity /dry conditions.
